Goobay LAN Tools 5-in-1 installation tool set: continuity tester, detects short circuits and breaks, case

The tester is used to measure LAN cabling continuity. It enables detection of incorrect connections, short circuits, and breaks in the cabling. With its help, it is possible to test connections made with UTP and FTP twisted pair cables terminated with RJ45 plugs, as well as a telephone cable terminated with an RJ11 connector. The device consists of two parts: the main unit and a terminator mounted on the two ends of the tested cable section. It has one function button, with which one of two operating modes can be selected. After switching on the device, the tester automatically starts checking each wire separately, and in the case of FTP cables also the correctness of the shield connection to the modular plug. It is also possible to manually set the test for each wire one by one. To change the basic operating mode in which the device works, press and hold the function button for about 2 seconds. In this mode, to proceed to testing the next wire, press the function button once. The test result is indicated by illuminated LEDs.

The set consists of five parts + case:
- main unit, equipped with a switch, LEDs, and connectors: RJ45 and RJ11
- attachment (terminator) equipped with LEDs and two connectors: RJ45 and RJ11
- crimping tool for LSA connectors
- universal insulation stripper
- RJ45, RJ11 crimping tool
