The Fast Connector FFC-SC/UPC-S02 allows you to terminate a single-mode fiber optic cable with a diameter of up to 3 mm without the need for splicing. The optical gel inside the connector effectively eliminates the effects of inaccurate cutting or a small gap between the inserted end of the fiber optic strand and the mounted fiber inside the connector. A sterile environment is not required for installing the fast connectors, because the fiber end face (contact surface) has been polished and precisely bonded under laboratory conditions. V-groove technology (positioning during assembly) allows for low insertion loss at the level of 0.25 dB. Installation is quick and easy. Thanks to the unique solution of a transparent housing, you can continuously monitor the quality of the connection being made. No visible light in the connector means a perfect connection. To perform the test, you will need a visual fault locator.
